Jimmy Wong — singer-songwriter, actor, graphic designer — stopped by What’s Trending to cover his favorite rock classic, “House of the Rising Sun,” by The Animals and answer questions about his renaissance YouTube success.
The familiar face from YouTube series like The Fine Bros.‘ MyMusic, Video Game High School, and Feast of Fiction tells us, “I’ve been playing music my whole life, but I really like acting. That’s sort of what I came to L.A. to do originally.”
Speaking of Video Game High School, Jimmy also makes up one half of a YouTube-dominating pair of siblings, along with his brother Freddie — filmmaker, gamer, and one of the brains behind VGHS.
“I guess we defy stereotype in some regard,” Jimmy says of their chosen paths. “But, you know, my dad’s a firm believer in the American Dream and if you put your heart into it, you can accomplish anything.”
In response to high demand from fans, Jimmy reveals some major breaking news about the highly-anticipated future of VGHS.
