The pending question on whether or not Bryan Singer will direct the upcoming “X-Men: Apocalypse” is starting to feel like a game of “will he, or won’t he?”
Though the X-Men director uploaded an Instagram photo of what looks like a treatment for “Apocalypse,” no official announcement has been made on if he’ll return to direct the next installment of the comic book franchise.
Though FOX is certainly pleased with the financial success of Singer’s last X-Men movie, with successful summer blockbuster “X-Men: Days of Future Past” raking in a current total of $713,053,899 worldwide, the director has also made headlines for sex abuse allegations earlier this year.
Yet even in the midst of the ongoing controversy, Singer has not been shy about his involvement in the next X-Men film, sending photos out via social media indicating that he’s not going anywhere.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” is set to hit theaters May 27, 2016.
