A Seattle man may have taken the “kill it with fire” memes a little too seriously.
The man reportedly tried to kill a spider in his laundry room with a lighter and spray paint, according to Komo News. The fiery mixture hit the wall and began spreading. The man said that he left the house when he realized that he couldn’t contain it himself.
Firefighters eventually stopped the blaze, after $60,000 of damage was done. We get that spiders are creepy, but that is one expensive phobia.
