Former Arkansas governor and faux-lksy Fox News host Mike Huckabee is definitely running for president. We know this because he left his show on America’s top-rated, least-trusted cable news network, and just released a book called God, Guns, Grits and Gravy. The book, based on Jon Stewart’s comments on The Daily Show, is largely a polemic against “Hollywood” culture while pandering to the Bible Belt, support from which Huckabee will need to secure the Republican nomination for president. (Note: he will not be able to do this.)

Stewart clearly took issue with Huckabee’s portrait of “Bubbleville,” as he referred to New York, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. Most notably, he went after Huckabee’s attack on Beyonce as a symbol of America’s crude culture.

The Daily Show team did it does best, dipped into the cable news archives, and revealed footage of Mike Huckabee playing base for Ted Nugent on his own show during a rendition of “Cat Scratch Fever,” a song about a man’s promiscuous sexual lifestyle and its resulting STDs.

So, of course Huckabee is a huge hypocrite, and of course he doesn’t see it. That won’t stop just enough red staters to vote for him to knock out any other conservative Christian candidate and pave the way for Jeb Bush or Chris Christie to swipe up the nomination next year.
