What’s Trending will be covering the action at VidCon 2015, hanging out with some of the biggest stars of the Internet and debuting our first podcast episode with Ian and Anthony from SMOSH – be sure to come check us out!
The debut episode of “The What’s Trending Podcast” will be filmed live from the Firetalk Stage (Booth #1406) on Thursday, July 23 starting 2:30pm PST, and Firetalk viewers and fans around the world can watch and ask questions live on Firetalk
The What’s Trending Podcast will be hosted by our own CEO and co-founder, Shira Lazar, as well as the rest of the What’s Trending team. The weekly episodes, covering all the biggest trends, videos, memes and stories from around the Web, will be available for download every Friday on iTunes and Soundcloud, as well as on WhatsTrending.com. Video highlights will air each weekend on YouTube.com/whatstrending.
“This is a great way to bring fans a behind-the-scenes look at the What’s Trending world, and dive deeper into topics we might not have the chance to talk about as much on the site, YouTube or Vine,” says Shira. “There’s so much noise out there, we want to be the destination for fun insight and conversation around the weird, wacky and wonderful world of the Web.”
Throughout the 3-day event, we’ll also be catching up with online personalities like Gigi Gorgeous, Kian Lawley, Mamrie Hart, Meghan Camarena, Lohanthony, Tim Delaghuetto, Devin Supertramp, Matt Santoro, stars of Oscar’s Hotel and more.
