Apple Releases New Charging Phone Case

Just before the year come to a close, Apple has released one more gadget in time for the Christmas rush: Apple’s new iPhone 6s Smart Battery Case. Yeah, basically exactly like the Mophie charger cases you’ve seen many times before. The design decisions and roll out strategy has left a lot of people wondering what Apple was thinking.

One thing that the Apple case does differently than other cases, is it allows you to see how much charge the case has on your phone’s home screen. It can also be charged with the lightning bolt cable as opposed to a micro USB, which most other cases require. Other than that, reviews have almost unanimously concluded that the case just doesn’t measure up to third party companies that have been making charging cases for years.
