Sarah Palin Endorses Donald Trump for President
Sarah Palin is back, baby.
Today, the Thriller from Wasilla made headlines and hit the top trend on Twitter as she endorsed Donald Trump for president in a truly remarkable 20-minute word-salad speech.
Be warned, her voice has only gotten shriller and more folksy over the years; so if you’re not sure you can handle the PTSD-like flashback to 2008, Buzzfeed has the full, verbatim transcript. Here’s a highlight:
I’m in it, because just last week, we’re watching our sailors suffer and be humiliated on a world stage at the hands of Iranian captors in violation of international law, because a weak-kneed, capitulator-in-chief has decided America will lead from behind. And he, who would negotiate deals, kind of with the skills of a community organizer maybe organizing a neighborhood tea, well, he deciding that, “No, America would apologize as part of the deal,” as the enemy sends a message to the rest of the world that they capture and we kowtow, and we apologize, and then, we bend over and say, “Thank you, enemy.”
Or, you can just watch this Vine and call it a day:
Unfortunately, this dramatic moment in American politics took place the same day that Palin’s son Track was arrested for punching his girlfriend:
Sarah Palin’s 26-year-old son, Track Palin, was arrested in Wasilla, Alaska on Monday night on domestic violence and weapons charges after he allegedly punched and kicked his girlfriend during an argument. The son of the former vice presidential candidate for a mainstream American political party is facing three misdemeanorcharges—assault, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, and possessing a gun while intoxicated.
God bless America.
