Anarchists Put Up Statues of a Nude, Baby-Dicked Trump in Major Cities
UPDATE: The New York statue has been taken down. When asked for comment, NYC Parks Department spokesperson Sam Biederman told Gothamist this:
“NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small.”
Good sweet lord is that beautiful. Original story continues below…
We’ve already seen graphic depictions of Donald Trump’s insides, courtesy of an insane video game. Now, you can see what Donald Trump might look like naked. And you can never un-see it.
According to the Washington Post, anarchist group INDECLINE erected (heh) five life-size statues of a naked, sans-testicles Trump in public spaces in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cleveland, and Seattle. Huffington Post editor JamesMichael Nichols tweeted (NSFW link) this image of the Trump statue in Union Square, NY, which we have barely censored below for your benefit. Here’s the censored version:
The project is called “The Emperor Has No Balls.” INDECLINE themselves have not specifically called it an anti-Trump piece, providing this statement to the Washington Post:
“Like it or not, Trump is a larger-than-life figure in world culture at the moment… Looking back in history, that’s how those figures were memorialized and idolized in their time — with statues.”
It’s not hard to take a guess, however, at what they’re really saying by sculpting Trump with a minuscule penis, no testicles, and a Masonic ring on his hand. Trump has often been criticized for his insecurity and autocratic approach to policy. So what better way to go after his thin skin than by showing us all of it?
The five statues were commissioned by INDECLINE and created by a Las Vegas-based artist named Ginger. He is known for creating monsters for haunted houses and horror movies, and told the Washington Post that INDECLINE approached him for his “monster-making abilities.” “Trump is just another monster,” he said, “so it was absolutely in my wheelhouse to be able to create these monstrosities.”
INDECLINE posted a video (NSFW) detailing the creation of the statues to YouTube:
