  • Kanye West is not exactly known for being ~punctual~ about arrival times. There was that one time in New York when he almost caused a few riots over a surprise show, and now he might be responsible for giving some New York Fashion Week (NYFW) models heat stroke.

Kanye West’s fourth annual take on New York Fashion Week, known as Yeezy Season, fell apart this afternoon (or did it?) when his models began to faint due to dehydration and heat exhaustion.

After two sold-out concerts at Madison Square Garden, West invited his fans to take shuttle buses from Midtown Manhattan to Roosevelt Island for this years’ Yeezy Season.

The show had a bit of a late start. After making high profile fashion editors wait in the heat for two hours, the models lined up in formation, wearing variations of black and brown leotards.

During the pre-show wait and while the show was going on, viewers reported from the ground that some of the models were actually falling over and passing out. Show goers also said that no one appeared to be helping the dehydrated women. Eventually, the audience provided water for some of the models.

Not sure if the fainting models were intentional? Was it all part of the show? Right now, only Yeezy knows.
