  • 22 people, including children as young as eight, have been killed in an explosion following an Isis claimed suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester England at a 21,000 seat venue, with 59 injured on Monday night on May 22nd at 10:30pm. Very many still remain missing from the blast.

Isis has claimed responsibility for the attack, although as CNN points out, Isis regularly claims responsibility for attacks they have no direct connection to. A 23 year old man was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the attacks, with the bomber’s name revealed to be Salman Abedi, a British national.

Ariana Grande has expressed her condolences to the victims on Twitter, saying —

  • Right now, all we can do is remember the victims. Amongst them, eight year old Saffie Rose Roussos and eighteen year old Georgina Callander.

An outpouring on Twitter has been seen for them both, and other victims of the attack, and it is important in this time to remember them, and to honor their memories.
