  • We love love love awkward moments with Mr. Trump [a Disney ride sure to happen, I am sure], and that’s why we’ve gone the due diligence of recording each and every awkward handshake the guy has had — although this is something new. In an interview with the New York Times, Trump said that the First Lady of Japan cannot speak a word of English, not even hello. However, a clip has surfaced online of her giving a speech in English during a keynote.

  • So did the first lady of Japan pretend not to know English in order to avoid a conversation with Donald Trump? It’s likely. I mean, I want it to be likely. There’s the other version where maybe Trump just assumed she didn’t know English because she didn’t speak to him. Maybe the guy just want to assume the only reason someone wouldn’t speak to him is because they literally did not share the same language as him. He then rubs his chin and goes “yeah, that’s it… yeah…”
