Mark Ruffalo, Olivia Wilde, Michael Moore Join Protest Outside of Trump Tower
At this point I’m sure you’ve heard all about Donald Trump’s awful, super toxic press conference where he more or less gave his tacit support to far right, alt right, and Nazi and white power groups and terrorists who held Charlottesville under siege. This resulted in protests — protests all around the world, and protests which brought out so many American citizens. One protest got visited by Michael Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Kazan, Olivia Wilde and the audience of Michael Moore’s show “Terms of My Surrender” to join the protests.
Moore surprised his audience with a series of buses which picked up the audience, offered them signs (such as “We Will Overcomb”) and led them to Trump tower to protest. There were several videos from the event, and it’s inspiring to watch the American people band together to fight hate.
Mark Ruffalo later Tweeted this call to those who may lose hope—
We must all do more to fight white supremacist groups in America. What do you think of this protest? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
