Amy Schumer Arrested While Protesting Kavanaugh

No one likes Kavanaugh, outside from the kinds of people who don’t believe the victims of sexual assault, and weird old creeps who want to “own the libs”. After the FBI’s kind of flimsy investigation of Kavanaugh that did not involve interview Christine Ford of Mark Judge, and was clearly meant to make the GOP feel okay for voting for a man who comitted perjury in front of the nation, Americans are not happy, and proceeded to protest. One of the protesters was comedian and sketch star Amy Schumer, was arrested, along with actress Emily Ratajkowski.

Photos of Schumer protesting alongside a police force were spread online, along with a video of a resigned Amy Schumer saying hello to the daughter of a fellow protester. Check out the video below.

The protest took place at the E. Barrett Prettyman Federal Courthouse, where Kavanaugh was employed, and according to Variety, Schumer was overheard saying “No matter how this goes, they cannot keep us down. We will win. A vote for Kavanaugh is a vote saying women don’t matter.”

MSNBC posted a photo of Schumer being arrested at the protest.

Hopefully Schumer’s presence and arrest at the protest will show the Senate how important it is that they just freakin choose some other schmo to run through their program no one wants. Yeesh.
