Napster founders launch Airtime, a video-chatting service
Infamous Napster founders Sean Parker and Shawn Fanning have launched a new service called Airtime on Tuesday, which is already being labeled as “Chatroulette 2.0” by some people online.
A live-chatting service, Airtime pairs users through their Facebook accounts with like-minded people; you must have a Facebook account to use Airtime. The service was launched at an event that included celebs like Jim Carrey, Jimmy Fallon and Olivia Munn.
Reuters reported that the launch was not without some glitches, as some of the chatters ran into technical difficulties minutes into the demo chats.
