62-year-old Giorgi Bereziani from Georgia, was heartbroken when he discovered that his little pup, Jorge, had gone missing. After three long years of despair, and the thought of never getting to cuddle with his furry friend again, Bereziani got the message that he had been dreaming of…
Giorgi was pottering around one day, when he got a phone call from the opera house. They informed him that in the big city of Tbilisi, Georgia, was his missing dog. Apparently, Jorge had relocated to the suburbs and was enjoying his life lounging outside the opera house in the sun. Of course, Giorgi was shocked, as it isn’t very often that owners are this lucky to find their pooch after they have gone missing, and especially after this amount of time.
After receiving this surreal phone call, Giorgi set off to Tbilisi to find his long-lost best friend. Luckily, Giorgi caught the whole thing on camera, so we’re able to experience the moment that melted our hearts…

Seriously, the dog looks so chill about the whole thing at first, as he’s lying in his favourite relaxation spot. As soon as he hears his owner call him, he gets up reluctantly – and then, it hits him. As the dog cries with excitement and kisses his owner all over, you can tell that Jorge is overwhelmed with emotions.
We don’t think Giorgi can believe it all himself either, as you can hear him exclaiming, “Jorge? Jorge it is you!” We get it, Giorgi, we would have doubts too if we hadn’t seen our doggo in over three years. As the video comes to an end, the two are pictured sharing a long-awaited cuddle together, which is definitely a picture for the photo albums…
