After hearing about Lana Del Rey’s morbidly dark interview with The Guardian on June 12, Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean, turned to Twitter to give the singer some two cents.

In the interview, Del Rey admitted that her heroes are Amy Winehouse and Nirvana legend, Kurt Cobain.

When asked her thoughts on glamorizing young death, as both Cobain and Winehouse died at the young age of 27 after severe drug addiction, she says, “I don’t know. Ummm, yeah… I do! I don’t want to have to keep doing this, but I am.”

The interviewer probed Del Rey to explain more about exactly what “this” is to her.

“Everything. That’s just how I feel. If it wasn’t that way, then I wouldn’t say it…,” the “Ultraviolence” singer explained.

Over a series of tweets, Frances Cobain, who lost her father as a toddler, expressed her concern about the interview with Del Rey.
