I’m really happy to hear about the Harry Potter sequel, provided that JK Rowling doesn’t eventually turn into George Lucas and kind of ruin everything. I’m optimistic, though.

Rowling has announced on the Pottermore website that “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” a new stage play, will be coming to London’s West End in the summer of 2016. Tickets go on sale on October 28, but only if you register for priority booking at HarryPotterthePlay.com.

The play, which will be in two parts, focuses on Harry’s son Albus Severus Potter – you know, the one named after “the two bravest men I ever knew,” which always makes Snape haters red-faced with anger. It takes place right where the books left off in the epilogue, as Albus Severus is going to Hogwarts for the first time, 19 years after the end of the war.

You’re totally thinking of flying all the way to London to watch this thing, aren’t you?
