Back before Star Wars: The Phantom Menace came out, every Star Wars fan was so psyched for the new trilogy. It was the follow up to greatness they had been waiting for so long.
And then…well, it was what it was.
This video captures a number of quick interviews with fans waiting in line to see the film. All the excitement. All the anticipation. It sounds a lot like how fans are reacting to what they think The Force Awakens will be upon its release. It makes you wonder, though, will this third set of films be a repeat of the prequel trilogy? Will they bring nothing but confusion and disappointment? Should we maybe just stop adding to franchises and leave good films alone?
