  • Jurassic World features one wildly unrealistic scene. At least according to the internet. Now, this has nothing to do with the dinosaurs featured prominently in the movie. No, this is about Aunt Claire, played by Dallas Bryce Howard, running in heels.

Director Colin Trevorrow has taken a lot of grief over the scene. Apparently, it is very hard to run in heels. So hard that it is not recommended doing that while running from a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Although if you’re running from a T-Rex I don’t think any shoes are going to help. Not even the ones from Like Mike.

Trevorrow sent out a tweet recently implying that running in heels would not be a feature of Jurassic World 2, which starts shooting soon. Instead of heels, he sent his female star a picture of actually useful boots. Here are some of Twitter’s best reactions to that tweet:

  • Seems Trevorrow has figured out the issues. I mean, the boots are still relatively good looking shoes, so it’s a question of why not use them in the first place. Heels in a place with mud and grass just doesn’t make sense (I assume. I strictly wear Vans, Converse, and Adidas).
