  • Shia LaBeouf has apologized for his drunken rants to police officers after he was arrested on Saturday. The actor was in Savannah, Georgia when he was arrested and charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. LaBeouf reportedly approached a bystander and a police officer asking for a cigarette and got aggressive and disorderly when they didn’t give him one. TMZ released footage from the altercation showing the actor using vulgar language and telling the officer he is going to hell. His rant even included him accusing the black officer of arresting him because he is white.

LaBeouf has been released on $7,000 bond and issued an apology:

“I am deeply ashamed of my behavior and make no excuses for

it….My outright disrespect for authority is problematic to say the

least, and completely destructive to say the worst….I am actively

taking steps toward securing my sobriety and hope I can be forgiven

    for my mistakes.”
