‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Reunites for Reunion Road Trip

It’s the reunion we’ve all been waiting for… (part of) the cast of Jersey Shore returned to Seaside Heights to reminisce on their fun-filled, drunken adventures!

Sadly, 3 cast members —Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Magro — were not present this time around, but it’s all good! If you want to see more of the cast together (except Ronnie) check out this video they did with Burger King!

The Reunion Road Trip, a special on E!, kicked off with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino going to pick-up his fellow housemates for a trip down memory lane. First up was Snooki — which I feared would be incredibly awkward due to past drama — followed by Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Jenny “JWoww” Farley, and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.

On their way down to the shore, Mike revealed that their initial plan was to hit up all their old spots — their old shore house, the Shore Store, and Karma Night Club. Unfortunately, none of those spots wanted the cast back, because… let’s just say they caused a lot of havoc back in their prime.

One spot that did agree to have them back, however, was Jenks! Here are a few a highlights — according to me… Alejandra, the What’s Trending Jersey Shore fanatic!

1. GTL is still going strong.

Okay, so Mike’s girlfriend may do his laundry now, and Pauly D might send his laundry out and have a gym in his house, but trust me… it still exists! Just check-out this clip from the reunion special.

2. Snooki and Mike are friends again.

Towards the end of Jersey Shore‘s run, Snooki and Mike were not on the best of terms. For some, it was sad to see considering how close the two were when the show first started. Now that Mike is 18-months sober, however, Snooki feels like he’s the Mike she met at the beginning. Yay to friendship!

3. Ron and Sam are officially over.

It’s always been the elephant in the room. Are Ron and Sam together? Are they friends? Do they hate each other? Well, Sammi “Sweetheart” fans are going to be happy to know that Sam is now in a healthy relationship and is just so “obsessed” with her new man (in a good way) — even Mike commented on the fact she was glowing! As for Ron, they don’t have any communication and it’s truly for the best.

4. Mike is at a turning point in his life.

We’ve got a bit of a situation. Being 18-months sober, it was Mike’s idea to get the entire gang back together. Following the show’s end, he was in and out of rehab and lost contact with almost all of his fellow house mates. Now that he’s in somewhat of a better place, Mike was happy to be able to see his friends one last time in case anything bad were to happen to him — going to jail for tax evasion that is. Of course, we hope everything turns out okay.
