  • Thirteen years after his now controversial “nipplegate” Super Bowl performance— where Justin Timberlake accidentally (or was it? Hmm, conspiracies abound!) pulled off Janet Jackson’s breastplate, showing a nreast with a star shaped nipple shield on it very quickly before it was covered up, sending everyone into a tizzy. Questions were asked such as “can we show such things on TV” and no one asked “hey why is a women’s chest considered offensive and a man’s just fine, that’s weird, right?”. But, regardless, Justin Timberlake, one half of the offending duo, is returning to the Super Bowl potentially to perform in its half time show and get everyone asking “oh hey, remember when that guy pulled someone’s breast plate about two presidents ago? Crazy he’s back, right?”. The Super Bowl is set to be in Minneapolis.

Jay-Z is rumored to possible join Justin Timberlake at the awards, but then that fights against the OTHER rumor we heard that he was protesting it due to the lack of pick up for Kaepernick. No news on what the events of last weekend did, if anything. Also, no news if Janet Jackson will make an appearance! We hope so. Nipplegate or not, man, she is a star! And a star who is unfortunately seemingly still saddled with the consequences of Nipplegate, despite just having the nipple and not being the one to choose to show it. She better be at that big game!
