Comedian Ralphie May Dead at 45

  • Beloved comedian Ralphie May has been found dead in his Las Vegas apartment at the age of 45 after a battle with pneumonia. The cause of death was cardiac arrest. Ralphie May first gained fame after placing second in Last Comic Standing in 2003.

    Ralphie May was born in Tennessee in February, 1972, and was raised in Clarksville, Arkansas. He got his start opening for Sam Kinison at the age of 17. He’s released a plethora of specials including Girth Of A Nation, Prime Cut, Austin-tatious, Too Big To Ignore, Unruly and Too Big to Ignore— the latter two of which can be found on Netflix.

    Ralphie May is survived by his wife and children. On Twitter, fans and colleagues rushed to remember just how much the comedian meant to them, and how kind he was on and off the stage.
