As a Marvel movie fan, after about ten years of Hulks and Iron Men and Winter Soldiers you think you’ve seen it all — then something like this latest Black Panther trailer comes along, and there you are scooping your spilled brains back into your head with a fine ladle, because your mind was blown folks! What kind of Marvel trailer is set to Gil Scott-Heron’s “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised?” Well, this one is, folks!
We see a little more of the world of Wakanda, the universe that Black Panther inhabits. We see more of Erik Killmonger, himself draped in a Black Panther costume of his own and teaming up with— with— (gasp!) — Dr. Klaw!? Played by Andy Serkis in Avengers: Age of Ultron he’s back, his hand shoots beams, Black Panther jumps out of a plane, it’s fantastic.
