  • In the Harry Potter universe, we’re used to seeing the grand and magic rise out of the small and insignificant, but man oh man — seeing it here, in our ridiculous muggle world, is absolutely mind shattering. A couple built a model of Diagon Alley in their driveway and the results are incredible.

For those who are unfamiliar with the Harry Potter books, Diagon Alley is the cute little square near Hogwarts where all the local businesses sell their wares, people mill about back and forth and wizards find their local wanted posters of the Sirius Blacks of the world, and this Seattle family made it with a 3D printer — with Jonathan Chambers — @dummaloop posting it on Twitter. You should check it out. It’s pretty amazing.

  • What do you think of this model of Diagon Alley? Does it look real? Is there anything they missed? Any Harry Potter sights you wish they put more of in? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
