  • Imagine being Darrell Hammond this morning — that late nineties/aughts SNL player who — while being no one’s favorite performer still eked out a reputation for himself. You wake up in the morning and hear that someone famous wants you back! You smile, but then your face sinks as you open up your phone and discover that someone is, in fact, Donald Trump.

Yes, my friends. Donald Trump is at it again, complaining about Alec Baldwin’s portrayal of him on SNL. This means either someone on Fox and Friends mentioned a quote from Alec Baldwin (apparently its the concept of Alec Baldwin finding the act of playing Donald Trump painful that set him off) or… I don’t even know. Is Trump catching up on old SNL’s during his eight hours of TV or whatever? Anyway, Donald Trump called watching Alec Baldwin “agony.” He also called him “Alex Baldwin” and spelled dying “dieing” in a now-deleted tweet so — I don’t know, am I supposed to just ignore this kind of behavior now? Have we actually normalized that the president tweets sh*t like, “bring back Darrell Hammond” at 5 am?

Anyway, Alec Baldwin — no stranger to being a problem himself — fired back.

  • Okay, impeachment jokes? That’s fair. I just hope this doesn’t devolve to some weird d*ck measuring contest where he makes fun of how long Donald Trump lasts in bed or how Melania Trump is unfaithful to him… wait. What?

  • It’s worth noting that, much like Donald Trump, Alec Baldwin is annoyed by the #MeToo movement and has continued to defend Woody Allen. SNL, come on. You don’t need a guy this much like Trump to play Trump. You’ve already had a perfect Trump in Leslie Jones. Come on!
