Being famous seems truly awful, as the opening lines of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan‘s letter announcing their separation refers to. The couple announced their separation on Monday — though having been separated for several months before then. The couple separates after a nine year marriage. They met on the set of “Step Up” in 2006 and were married in 2009. The couple will continue to work together to raise their four year old daughter.
The reason for the split seems to remain very normal and human for a couple of this magnitude. An insider told People Magazine: “This has been a long time coming… Like any marriage, they’ve had their ups and downs over the years but they really started to grow apart within the last year.”
