  • YouTube’s Brandon Rogers is a renaissance man, a sketch writer, a character comic, and most importantly, a cat. Clifton the Cat is just one of an army of characters which include Jürgens (a blind fashion designer) Helen Brownstein (the strict hall monitor), a grandpa of indeterminate but very old age, and Sharita Repulsa (a new take on the classic Power Rangers villain). Check out some of his sketches below.

  • Brandon Rogers isn’t only known for his character sketches, however. He also created two web series which can be currently seen on YouTube — ‘Theater Class’ and ‘Stuff and Sam’. ‘Theater Class’ is a Christopher Guest inspired mockumentary which tells the story of Alex Rimmer, a failed stand up comedian who returns to his hometown to teach a group of students who does not respect him in the least.

  • ‘Stuff and Sam’ is a parody of a talk show which premiered on Facebook Watch. In it, Brandon Rogers plays “Sam,” a goofy but friendly talk show host who, along with his sidekick, Donna (as played by Paulette Jones), takes us through a series of increasingly grotesque and taboo subjects. An episode can end with a woman drinking a mug of diarrhea as a man gets his eyeballs bloodily poked in by the mailman — as the pilot for this show did!

  • You can also watch his show Magic Funhouse here. Brandon Rogers’ shirking of social taboos when he creates his characters is just a part of his charm, and his energy and feverish mind has won him over fans all over the Internet. We were lucky enough to get Brandon into our studio as Clifton (the Instagram Famous Cat) in order to countdown some of the most successful Internet cats with his owner Lenny, played by comedian Jon Cozart.
