BRILLIANT! Ego Nwodim Joins Cast of SNL For 44th Season

Saturday Night Live has only added one new actress to their upcoming 44th season, but holy hell is it a good one, with the UCB’s Ego Nwodim joining the fabulous sketch show as a featured player. Ego is a performer who is adored as a star in the UCB community, and her one woman show “Great Black Women … and Then There’s Me” just rounded out its fabulous run. Additionally Ego was featured in the 2016 JFL New Faces Characters showcase and the 2016 CBS Diversity Showcase where she additionally stunned. Here she is in a sketch from Funny or Die…

She also can be heard as a regular on Earwolf podcasts, shining particularly on Comedy Bang Bang. Here is a clip of her on the show playing a Nigerian Prince.

Also, speaking personally from the UCB community, she’s an unbelievable star. All of your minds are going to melt this season watching Ego n the new season.

Additionally, comedy has a reason to celebrate with the addition of four writers Alan Linic, Alison Gates, Eli Mandel, and internet favorite stand up Bowen Yang. Creatively, it’s gearing up to be an incredible season.
