Childish Gambino and Rashida Jones Release Video on Workplace Harassment

As the nation and world deal with the long long (long) overdue cultural change of the #MeToo movement, the nation also deal with some very obvious lessons it should have been facing earlier. For one — don’t ask out your terrified interns, alright folks? And look. I know you won’t listen to me. But maybe you’ll listen to… oh, I don’t know, Parks and Recreation star Rashida Jones and rap and comedy superstar Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover? The latter narrated a video directed by the former on proper workplace etiquette in light of the #MeToo movement.

The information the video goes over should be obvious to anyone with a bit of a heart or any empathy, but if you truly need Childish Gambino to tell you… hey… stop asking out people who you could have an impact on their careers. Stop calling people hot or sexy in the office. It’s not great, you dork. What, you want to be like that goon who tried to kiss a journalist at the World Cup in Russia? You want me to make fun of you on this blog? Nah, I don’t think you do! Come on!

This is a wonderful and worthwhile move from Donald Glover, and hopefully not the last time that Rashida Jones will be teaming up with the This Is America singer. While, due to the overall misogynistic creepiness of Pixar’s John Lassetter (no doubt one of the many men this video is a response to), we will never get a Rashida Jones Toy Story 4 movie, we hopefully will get many more projects between the sitcom actress and the rapper/sitcom star/stand up/sitcom writer/show creator/Lando Calrissian that is Donald Glover.

What did you think of the video? Will it make a change? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
