Nicki Minaj Says She’s Dating Eminem, but Is It True?

Nicki Minaj, a pop star in the vein of Madonna or David Bowie (where the act of being a celebrity is as much as important as the fact that she is one), posted an Instagram video on Friday that seemed to hint that she’s dating that classic figure of 90’s rap, Marshall Mathers, aka, Eminem.

The caption of the Instagram video read: “#BIGBANK OUT NOW!!!!!! @yg @2chainz @bigsean ????? Told’em I met Slim Shady. Bagged a EM!!! ????”. In the caption, Minaj advertises her new song ‘Big Bank’, featuring the previously tagged accounts, and ‘Big Bank’ includes the lyric “Uh oh / Back again / Back to back Maybach, stack the M’s / Told ’em I met Slim Shady, bag the M / Once he go black, he’ll be back again”, which hints that Nicki Minaj and Marshall Mathers committed the holy act of the intimate act of romantic consummation, or “sex” as the (much cooler than me) teens call it.

Also, most directly when a fan asked Nicki “You dating Eminem???”, Nicki Minaj replied with an eloquent, super response worthy of a novel’s worth of feelings, emotion and elaboration. I am, of course, talking about the word ‘yes’.

Many believe Nicki Minaj is pulling an elaborate prank on her fans, possibly to get headlines just like this, where I mention her new single amidst all the talk of what rapper she’s dating now!
