Rapper Post Malone was one of sixteen other passengers on a plane which had to make an emergency landing in New York City after a tire blew out on the plane shortly after take off. TMZ obtained a video of the plane’s take off, which can be seen below.

For a tense hour and change, Malone’s plane circled over New York state, burning fuel in order to make a non fiery landing as it looked for a safe place to to do so. The plane was originally meant to land at Teterboro airport in New Jersey, but then was diverted to Westfield Barnes Regional Airport in Springfield, Massachusetts and then finally landed safely at Stewart International Airport at New Windsor, New York. They were greeted by nine firetrucks and twelve ambulances on standby. Luckily, they were not needed as Post Malone ended up relatively safe, and was seen talking to first responders on the ground.

Post Malone facetimed with TMZ shortly after, where the rapper announced that he needs beer. Honestly, who can blame him.

Said the star: “Oh my God. I hate flying in general. I don’t even know what to say, man. I’m shook. One hell of a team on that aircraft. We’re here. And we’re here on Earth. And I need some beer. And I need some wine. At the same time, mixed together.”

Post Malone just performed last night with Aerosmith and 21 Savage, and won for song of the year with Rockstar, so let’s just say that the artist just had a big dumb twenty four hours with thrills, terrors, chills, highs, lows, and then a plane crash happened.

Malone tweeted jokingly about the incident, playing with the hate he normally gets on the website, showing that his sense of humor is still blissfully intact.
