The Fab 5 is back! Tan, Jonathan, Karamo, Bobby, and Antoni are headed to Kansas City, Missouri in the Queer Eye trailer that dropped on Monday; and may we just say, season 3 looks EMOTIONAL!
Netflix’s Queer Eye is a revamp of the original series, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy that premiered on Bravo in 2003, and ran for five seasons. The new version of the show was released in 2018, and was a hit with audiences, receiving strong ratings.
The Fab 5 make-over everything from participants’ homes, wardrobes, hairstyles, grooming routines, and even their nutrition. The trailer introduced some of this season’s lucky participants. In season 2, the show featured its first woman to receive a make-over, and this season will include more women than ever before! Season 3 also marks the first time that the guys will take on the challenge of transforming two people in one episode!
The trailer hinted that this installment will tackle topics like alcoholism, grief, race relations, and struggles within LGBTQ+ community. Even though these are heavy topics, the stars will surely handle them with grace. And the theme of this season?
“This is the season to love yourself”
