Beyoncé Gave Training Advice to Kevin Garnett
For the ‘Beyhive’ and pop culture fanatics in general, Beyoncé is a lot of things. She’s a performer, business woman, role model, and so much more. On behalf of all my ladies out there, it’s safe to say that we would kill for a banging’ body like Bey’s.
Turns out we’re not the only one’s looking to her for some fitness motivation! On an episode of Bill Simmon’s podcast, Clippers player J.J. Redick revealed the advice Kevin Garnett passed down to him that he got from Beyoncé herself.
In case you don’t know who I’m talking about, here’s a quick lesson in the world of basketball: J.J. Redick currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers and Kevin Garnett is pretty much an NBA defensive legend who played for the Boston Celtics.
Any who, a cue that Garnett took from Queen Bey was to sing while working out. I know that sounds a little odd, but it makes sense. How else would Beyoncé get through her lengthy concerts packed with intricate dance moves? I mean, it would be kind of awkward if she took a 10-minute water break while performing, you know?
With this in mind, Garnett began singing while running during his off season and it worked! His endurance improved making communication with teammates on the court effortless.
The woman can clearly do no wrong. No matter what she does, she’s able to help someone… no matter how random it might seem. What a QUEEN.
Would you ever try singing while working out? I, personally, would not want to traumatize the people around me with my horrible voice, but it could be fun (or extremely difficult) to try. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or @WhatsTrending on Twitter!
