Announcing Our “Social 25” List Honoring Top Digital Stars, Non-Profits, Tech + More!

It’s that time of year again, folks – Social Media Week Los Angeles time! This week many will gather to gain insight from the web’s best and brightest, those who are on the cusp of something great and using the power of social media to get them there. What’s Trending’s own Shira Lazar once again joined Tubefilter CEO Drew Baldwin, in curating a list of 25 people, organizations, and brands they think are influencing the future of social media.

This year’s honoree’s include comedian Amy Schumer, who has found an abundance of viral success through her “Inside Amy Schumer” sketches. Modern Family’s Sofía Vergara also secure her spot on the list, as she’s spent more time in the past year expanding her online presence through social media, as well as a curated blog. Representatives from amazing organizations like “Fuck Cancer” and “Thirst Project” are also celebrated for all the work they do, and their social presence influencing their followers to be proactive about their respective causes.
