Adele’s Flub at the Grammys, and Other Crazy Moments

There’s plenty to gossip about after the Grammy’s last night – and really, do we expect anything less?

Of course everyone is talking about how Taylor Swift pretty obviously called out Kanye West as she accepted her Album of the Year award, after he claimed “I made that bitch famous” in his latest album and then said the line was her idea.

That’s hardly the only shocker of the night, though. Adele ran into some audio issues during her performance of “All I Ask” – and unlike other moments when we’ve heard the raw mike feed of Adele singing and it was flawless, this time she actually sounded out of tune.

The resulting scandal was big enough that she had to address it on Twitter, explaining that the piano mic fell onto the piano and made a “guitar sound” that made her sound off. “Shit happens,” she said cheerfully. “Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an In n Out. So maybe it was worth it.”

Big winners for the night were Kendrick Lamar in all the rap categories, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars winning Record of the Year for “Uptown Funk,” Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” for Song of the Year and Meghan Trainor for Best New Artist.

And Demi Lovato had her own kind of victory with an amazing performance of Lionel Richie’s “Hello,” which brought down the house.
