  • There is no conversation about women in society that can’t be made 100 times more annoying by Piers Morgan chiming in.

You probably remember the four straight days of Kim Kardashian coverage after she posted a nude selfie to Instagram.

She must have considered that campaign a huge success, because she’s bringing it all back with a new topless selfie with model Emily Ratajkowski, best known as the topless girl in the “Blurred Lines” video and the topless mistress in “Gone Girl.”

She has amazing breasts, is the point, and she’s proud of them.

Kim captioned the photo, “When we’re like…we both have nothing to wear LOL”.

Emily also shared the image with this message in a series of tweets:

”However sexual our bodies may be, we need to have the freedom as women to choose when & how we express our sexuality. We are more than just our bodies, but that doesn’t mean we have to be shamed for them or our sexuality. #liberated

“Even if being sexualized by society’s gaze is demeaning, there must be a space where women can still be sexual when they choose to be.”

It’s a provocative and interesting way to look at things and might have started a useful conversation among women, if Piers Morgan hadn’t jumped in and made the whole situation about how annoying he is. He went on a 21-hour Twitter rant about it, beginning with this post:

  • FYI, that’s Emmeline Goulden Pankhurst, a British suffragette, pictured next to the topless photo.

You may like the Kardashians and you may not, but I think most women can agree that Piers Morgan is the last person we need lecturing us about what feminism means and how we should approach sexuality. After all, he’s the one who seems to be declaring Kim Kardashian the spokesperson for all women everywhere and ranting about her online because he knows it will get him a bunch of attention.
