  • Few shows have been as internet-friendly as “Stranger Things,” the 80s-nostalgic sci-fi/horror series on Netflix — and in this week’s appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the young actors from the cast proved they’re just as engaging out of character.

Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Finn Wolfhard talked to Fallon about highlights of the show — including that kissing scene between Mike and Eleven in the final episode of Season 1 — before gathering in a replica of Mike’s basement for a game of “Stranger Strings,” where they take turns reading random secrets about each other and then spraying silly string on who they thought the secret was about.

Probably the best moment was when Finn Wolfhard completely destroyed Fallon by responding to his quip “Can you read?” with “Can you host?” and then covered his mouth in shock when he realized how brutal he’d just been. This could be one of the last big memes of 2016.

  • Also, it turns out that Eleven can do a mean Nicki Minaj rap:

  • The kids also acted out a skit with beloved character Barb, back from The Upside Down and not happy about it (played by “Tonight Show” writer A.D. Miles, rather than the actual actor Shannon Purser who tweeted that she loved the skit but tries not to cuss that much).
