  • If you live in or near Stratford, Ontario, you’re in luck! On February 18, Stratford Perth Museum will be opening an exhibit dedicated to Justin Bieber‘s rise to fame called “Steps to Stardom.”

John Kastner — General Manager of the Stratford Perth Museum — says “Steps to Stardom” is “a nod to the fact that Justin started out busking on the steps of Stratford’s Avon Theater as a boy. The idea is to cover that period of his life.”

  • According to the museum’s official website, the exhibit was created with the help of Justin and his family. “The museum was given access to hundreds of items — awards, clothing, pictures, credentials, personal letters and even running shoes… In addition, a number of things have come forward from Stratford residents that have also been offered to the Museum — team pictures, hockey jackets, drum sets,” and more.

For a musician that is only 23-year-old, this exhibit is quite the honor. So, why document his journey now? The Stratford Beacon Herald reports, “the museum’s board of directors had previously considered putting together a Bieber exhibit in the past. But once a visiting politician from Ottawa raised the idea last summer, it picked up steam.”

“We started the conversation and they went back and forth with (his management) in Atlanta and Justin, and we got approval and then we started to go through the inventory of items they had,” says Kastner.

What does Justin, himself, think of the exhibit? Kastner says he very appreciative.
