Donald Trump has caused so much controversy in America, that even his Walk of Fame Star in Hollywood has suffered the consequences. After being bashed up twice, and most recently being covered in stickers that say words like ‘I resist Homophobia’ and ‘I resist Racism’, followed by many other stickers that don’t stand for what Trump believes in, the managers of the Walk of Fame, have now decided it’s best to remove the President’s star.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce have voted to permanently remove the star from the Walk of Fame in Hollywood, Los Angeles, following many occurrences of people defacing Trump’s star, and personally, I think it’s for the best. Even though the Walk of Fame features the names of over 2,600 iconic stars, Donal Trump’s is the only one that has been vandalized so many times, that we’ve actually lost count.
However, the star is not being removed just because of the cosmetic destruction, but because of Trump’s “disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood.” You go West Hollywood City Council! It’s the first star to be removed, since The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced that they would never remove a stars’ name due to backlash, but times have changed, and things need to be done to make an impact.
Many people on Twitter are shocked, yet happy and somewhat excited that the President’s star is being removed, especially due to the reason being so straight to the point of what actually matters. However, some people feel like it’s slightly awkward, considering there are still many stars who names feature on the Walk, who have had their fair share of sexual scandals in the past, and nothing has been done about them…

The West Hollywood City Council has unanimously voted to ask the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove Donald Trump’s star from the
Hollywood Walk of Fame. At least there’s a chance somebody’s gonna impeach his star.

How does it feel to be the only person in the history of Hollywood to lose a star in the walk of fame.

Others wanted Trump removed from more than just the Walk of Fame, and perhaps something *slightly* bigger…
I don’t give a shit about removing Donald Trump’s star from the Hollywood walk of fame. I want him removed from the Whitehouse.

However, fans of Donald Trump feel sorry for the man, due to him apparently trying to save America, and feel bad for the way he’s being treated…
@realDonaldTrump is president of the United States he doesn't need that star as far as im concerned but it is sad that for a man trying to save America he's treated the way he is 😢

Thats ok take away the star.
We know who he is and what he has done to restore our country. Thank you sir @realDonaldTrump

I’m sorry, but what? Do you live in America? Have you seen what he’s done to the country? Getting his star removed is the least that people could do to show him what we really think of him. Although we may be perhaps biased, people are entitled to their own opinions, so we shouldn’t be judging…but we’re not the only ones who think like this!
R u for real

We’re just as confused as you are.
