Faking an airplane crash on Tik Tok for followers? Not a smart idea. Here are all the details on the viral Tik Tok and how people are reacting. The internet comes with real and fake videos, and sometimes creators use this to their advantage.

A TikToker posted a video of her on an airplane with some kind of air or steam coming out of the vents. The caption was “craziest flight ever.” If you are on TikTok, you know that sounds are a huge part of the app. You can use other people’s sounds in your own video. This creator used a sound that made it sound like the plane was crashing, with beeps, screams, and someone yelling “we are all going to die”

This sound has been used many times by creators taking videos on planes to make it seem like they are in trouble. All of these videos have high views and likes, which could be a reason why people want to use the sound.

This specific video has over 6 million views. Everyone in the comments pointed it that it seemed fake. One comment says, “it’s not their sound” and another comment explained the mist saying, “it’s basically like Lysol they put in the cabin because of COVID. They did it on my flight yesterday.” Tori, the creator, posted an update after saying “update I’m alive” and said that nothing really happened.

Comments on this video guessed by what she said in her explanation that it was only for views. And it worked because she got so many. A comment says, “when people do things to get likes” and “so basically free clout”

Hopefully, this can be a lesson for everyone to think critically about the videos that you watch on Tik Tok and to not fake a plane crash for likes.
