This weekend, Kim Kardashian West was visiting Paris, France to attend several fashion week events. While she was in her luxury rental apartment, she was allegedly robbed by two men dressed as French police officers.
The men tied her up, gagged her, and locked her in her bathroom while they robbed Kardashian West of $10 million worth of jewelry, and two cell phones. According to the actual French police and CNN, the men escaped on bikes, and are still at large.
Many in the Twittersphere attempted to joke about Kim’s awful experience, but Chrissy Teigen came to her rescue.

None of the Kardashians have yet made statements regarding the event, but husband Kanye West did stop a New York concert Sunday night citing a “family emergency”. According to ET, Kim’s spokesperson said that she was “badly shaken but physically unharmed”. Kim is now safely back in the United States with her children Saint and North West.
