  • Teens are just so inspiring!! Just last week we covered Nadya Okamoto’s Camions of Care, and now we have a teenage boy literally running to this little girl’s rescue. What a time to be alive!

A cheerleading squad in San Antonio thought they’d be super cute and dedicate a move to their dads during Parents’ Day. Although this was undoubtedly planned with the best of intentions, one of the girls was left out. Nine-year-old Addie Rodriguez’s dad happened to be serving in the Air Force and couldn’t make it to Parents’ Day, so teen of the year Matthew Rodriguez stepped up to fill in for Addie’s dad. Seriously some heartwarming stuff.

  • According to ABC, Garcia saw Rodriguez crying on the field so he jumped the fence and asked her if he could pick her up for the cheer. She said “Yes” and they finished the routine with all of the other cheerleaders. Garcia said that after the game, Addie found him to thank him and hug him for his help. Awwwwwwww.
