The Montreal rockers of Arcade Fire are treating the senses kindly with a new interactive music video for their song ‘Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains).’ To check it out the Vincent Morisset directed piece and make the people dance, go here.
According the video’s website, “with the help of your camera, you will influence the pacing of the video with your movements. There are no specific moves, just dance with your hands. [Your computer] camera will detect the movement you are making. The crazier you get, the faster the video will go. If you stop, the action will be suspended and looped. Be sure that you are in front of the camera, that there is enough light in the room and no external movement in the background. Pump up the volume!”
I tried it out a few minutes ago. It’s definitely a fun interactive jaunt.
