America has spoken. Nineteen-year-old vocalist Melanie Amaro was crowned ‘The X Factor’ winner last night, making her mentor and the show’s creator Simon Cowell proud. As part of her victory, the young Florida native with the big voice has been granted a $5 million recording contract and a Pepsi commercial deal. Thirty-year-old crooner Josh Krajcik of Wooster, Ohio came in as second runner-up of the competition.

Here are some special Melanie Amaro moments from throughout ‘The X Factor’ season.
