IFC’s Portlandia continues to woo geeks with its quirky storyline, that may seem over the top but rings true for all those hipsters out there, and us outsiders who seem easily entertained by their antics. The network has been great at engaging fans online distributing cut up segments of the show, that tend to go viral. The show has also continued to be one of the top consistent Google search terms, proving the power of connecting with the online community to raise awareness and boost ratings for the network.
