The fight between Donald Trump and De Niro continues, with one guy the epitome of cool, and one guy a big slob who thinks movies are real. No guesses to which one is which!

This week has been full of the most unbelievable headlines, which have actually turned out to be true. From IHOP becoming IHOb and Trump meeting up with North Korean leader, Kim Jong-Un, this week has been a rollercoaster from start to finish. However, during the Tony Awards, which was broadcasted on Sunday, Robert De Niro introduced Bruce Springsteen to the stage but didn’t finish until he had stated his views on Donald Trump.

De Niro started off by saying “I’m going to say one thing. F*ck Trump. It’s no longer ‘Down with Trump, it’s f*ck Trump!'” The crowd absolutely loved the fact that the actor had finally spoken up, and at such a prestigious event, in which 6.3 million people watched. He then went on to say “f*ck Trump” again and pumped his fists in the air. Unfortunately, the editors for the award show bleeped out the actor, so many people didn’t get to hear what he said, but for the people who were able to lip-read, they were left speechless, yet so proud.

However, it was only a matter of time before Trump commented on the situation, in which people already predicted would happen.

In classic Trump style, he wrote a tweet to De Niro, mocking his intelligence and more. So classy and professional.

Some people can’t believe how the situation has unfolded, as it seems like it has been made up. But, then again, hasn’t every situation Trump has found himself in? Many have also mocked Trump’s tweet, and also pointed out how he is showing more importance to this, than the Singapore Summit that has just taken place.

Although, others had a much better way to put an end to this feud, and settle it properly:

Perhaps they’re a bit too old for that, but nonetheless, De Niro showed bravery at the Tony Awards, and said the words that everybody has been thinking, but haven’t been confident enough to say. Well done, Robert De Niro. You are truly our hero.
