  • What was I doing at nine years old? Was it shooting my first blockbuster film? Or was it chewing on a Thomas the Tank Engine toy to impress no one? Well, at nine years old, Emma Watson, the titular “Beauty” in the upcoming live action Beauty and the Beast, was playing the role of a lifetime as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. She went on Kimmel recently, and Kimmel surprised her with an outtake from the film.

In the film we see nine year old Emma Watson mouthing lines to actors Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint to help them remember them. It’s sweet, but Emma Watson says the memory was traumatic! It was a big problem on set and would regularly ruin takes! Ah, but look at you now Emma Watson! A true star! Mouthing, no one’s lines! And being one of the most accomplished 26 year olds on the planet, but also, mouthing no one’s lines!
