  • Yikes… Out of all preventable tattoo mishaps, this one seems to take the cake.

Dallas Cowboys superfan Jordan Garnett got a tattoo declaring the Dallas Cowboys as the champions of the Super Bowl 51 two months before the championship game. After he got the tattoo, he proudly showed off his new ink on his Twitter account, putting his faith in the team’s potential to emerge as the victor.

  • Unfortunately for him, the Green Bay Packers won against the Cowboys 34-31, and they will advance to the championships instead.

  • Twitter has erupted with mixed reactions to Garnett’s tattoo, with some showing sympathy while others mocked him for his premature decision.

  • We think that while the tattoo was definitely premature, it will still signify to Jordan his love for his team, his faith in the team’s abilities, and will be one hoot of a story to tell his children. Of course, it still would have been better if they had won, but hey, at least the blue-star shape of the Cowboys look pretty cool as a tattoo, thank heavens.
