  • Struggling Republican presidential candidate, Rick Santorum, stunned the public with a statement that was unequivocally false. He claimed:

“I was just reading something last night, from the state of California. And the California universities, I think it’s seven or eight of the California system of universities, don’t even teach an American history course. It’s not even available to be taught.”

The claim, of course, is transparently false (MSNBC pundit Rachel Maddow debunked it in the video below). But, we’re stumped. Either he lied or he did legitimately read it somewhere, and the place where he gets his news might be disturbingly bad. So, dear readers, can you help us find where he might have gotten that news? We’re stumped.
